Nieuw in 2026 is het allereerste Concours Het Groene Geheim. Met dit concours geven we jong talent een podium tijdens het festival en verbinden we de volgende generatie musici aan Almere en Flevoland. Jonge ensembles uit heel Nederland maken kans op een optreden tijdens het festival, een geldprijs én een plek op een volgende editie van Het Groene Geheim. De inschrijving is vanaf nu geopend!

Dit concours richt zich op ensembles van jonge musici tussen 17 en 27 jaar die klassieke muziek spelen in duo’s, trio’s of grotere bezettingen, zonder dirigent. Het repertoire kan variëren van middeleeuwse muziek tot eigentijdse muziek. Zowel klassieke als crossover programma’s zijn welkom. De jury luistert naar voordracht, speltechniek, klankvorming, muzikaliteit en originaliteit. De deelnemers moeten woonachtig zijn in Nederland.

VOORRONDE

Het ensemble levert bij aanmelding een recente video met (een deel van) hun repertoire in. De totale lengte van de video’s mag niet langer zijn dan 20 minuten. Een live-opname heeft de voorkeur. We accepteren alleen (unlisted) YouTube- of Vimeo-links. Het repertoire hoeft niet per se te bestaan ​​uit de stukken die tijdens de competitie gespeeld zullen worden. De spelers en de bezetting moeten wel dezelfde zijn als diegene die komen deelnemen. Het gebruik van elektronica/theatrale elementen is toegestaan. Er is geen vleugel of klavecimbel aanwezig. HALVE FINALE

Op basis van de inzendingen worden zes ensembles geselecteerd voor de halve finale.  De halve finale vindt plaats in de kerk Goede Rede in Almere, waar de ensembles live zullen optreden voor de jury. De duur van het programma is 20 minuten. De werken die in de voorronde via video worden gepresenteerd, kunnen opnieuw worden gespeeld in de halve finale of de finale. Het gebruik van elektronica/theatrale elementen is toegestaan. Er is geen vleugel of klavecimbel aanwezig.Houd er rekening mee dat we alleen 2 luidsprekers, een kleine mengtafel, een microfoon en microfoonstandaard ter beschikking kunnen stellen. De rest dient je zelf mee te nemen en te bedienen.

De finalisten worden op aan het einde van de dag in Goede Rede bekend gemaakt. 

FINALE

De finalisten treden op zaterdag 19 september op in Stadslandgoed De Kemphaan in Almere, tijdens het festival Het Groene Geheim (programma van 16:00 – 21:00 uur). De duur van het programma is 25 minuten. De werken die in de halve finale werden gepresenteerd, kunnen opnieuw worden gespeeld in de finale. Qua aanwezig materiaal is het gelijk aan de halve finale.

PRIJSUITREIKING 

De winnaars worden direct na de finale bekend gemaakt op zaterdag 19 september aan het eind van het inhoudelijke programma.

EERSTE PRIJS: € 1.500 en een optreden op de editie 2027 van Het Groene Geheim.

ENGLISH:

New in 2026 is the very first Het Groene Geheim Competition. With this competition, we aim to provide a stage for young talent during the festival and connect the next generation of musicians to Almere and Flevoland. Young ensembles from across the Netherlands have the chance to perform at the festival, win a cash prize, and secure a performance spot at a future edition of Het Groene Geheim. This competition is open to ensembles of young musicians between the ages of 17 and 27 performing classical music in duos, trios, or larger ensembles, without a conductor. The repertoire may range from medieval music to contemporary works. Both classical and crossover programmes are welcome. The jury will assess interpretation, technique, sound quality, musicality, and originality. Participants must be residents of the Netherlands.

PRELIMINARY ROUND

Ensembles are required to submit a recent video recording featuring (part of) their repertoire. The total length of the videos may not exceed 20 minutes. A live recording is preferred. Only (unlisted) YouTube or Vimeo links will be accepted. The repertoire submitted does not necessarily need to include the works that will be performed during the competition itself. However, the players and ensemble formation must remain the same throughout the competition. The use of electronics and/or theatrical elements is permitted. There’s no piano or harpsichords.

SEMI-FINAL

Based on the submitted videos, six ensembles will be selected for the semi-final. The semi-final will take place at Goede Rede Church in Almere, where the ensembles will perform live for the jury. The programme duration is 20 minutes. Works presented in the preliminary video round may be performed again during the semi-final or final. The use of electronics and/or theatrical elements is permitted. There’s no piano or harpsichords.

Please note that only two speakers, a small mixing desk, one microphone, and a microphone stand will be available on site. Any additional equipment must be brought and operated by the participants themselves.

The finalists will be announced at the end of the day at Goede Rede.

FINAL

The finalists will perform on Saturday 19 September at Stadslandgoed De Kemphaan in Almere during Festival Het Groene Geheim (programme between 16:00 and 21:00). The programme duration is 25 minutes. Works performed during the semi-final may be repeated in the final. The available technical equipment will be the same as during the semi-final.

AWARD CEREMONY

The winners will be announced immediately after the final on Saturday 19 September, at the end of the festival programme.

FIRST PRIZE: €1,500 and a performance at the 2027 edition of Het Groene Geheim.
